    The Rescue of Sir Dumbledore

    Hat in the Cat

Goats are incredible animals. They are funny, affectionate and intelligent. There is nothing cuter than a baby goat leaping in the air, sideways and every which way, over and over.

Contrary to popular belief, goats do not eat garbage. They will eat most things, but only if the item is nutritious. Also contrary to common belief, goats do not have 4 stomachs. Instead, they have 1 large one divided into 4 compartments. As the food passes through them, it is regurgitated several times to finish the digestion process. This is known as chewing their cud.

Follow this story as Sir Dumbledore and his companion Asmund, a Norsk Skogkatt make their way from abuse and misery to love and care at New Moon Farm Goat Rescue and Sanctuary. Delight in the sweet friendship that exists between goat and cat as Asmund rides on the goat’s back towards their final destination.
